This week I’ve finally landed at home and I’m making my new rehearsal space/studio a bit more cozy. The interior includes a rat trap loaded with cheese. My new house mate didn’t bite it last night though and I wonder wether he would like parmesan better than Gouda. Me and Kjetil are working on our instrumental project right now. It’s good to do something different sometimes.
Two really good agents in UK wants to start booking for us right now and I have to think what’s the best solution. Someone who are nice to work with and does a kick ass job is so important when it comes to gigs which is what me and bro love to do the most.
My manager called me yesterday to say that he wouldn’t mind a little less “swimming” with my arms on stage. He’s not quite satisfied with my arm moves and also he thinks I turn the knobs way too much on my Korg MS 20. Why can’t you just press a button and play? he says.???????? Well, there is no buttons on an MS 20 and even if you turn the knobs in the right way it doesn’t always do what you say. You have to cuddle with it and caress it. And when you do, it sounds amazing.
So I think I’ll just keep on swimming my arms and turning my knobs.
